Hello lovely 5th graders,

Please hand in all Detective Nose worksheets to the guest teacher. Make sure your NAME is on it.

Today you will use your iPads. Remember to use the iPad responsibly: READ ALOUD:

  1. All iPads are flat on the table.
  2. Handle the iPad with care.
  3. No drink or food
  4. You are only accessing the website that the Guest Teacher has instructed you to use.
  5. If you didn’t follow steps 1 to 3 the Guest Teacher will automatically take it away.

With the Guest Teacher, Read aloud Mystery Story Lead Sentences examples. Complete the worksheet individually. Correct it as a class.

As a class, read together pages 1 to 3 of Harris Burdick LINK HERE. As a group, analyse the images and discuss what kinds of stories they could possibly tell.
